Mission


To provide to wide array of programs that reflect on traditions, values, growth and the success to the Vietnamese - Americans and continues to reserve the Vietnamese culture and tradition to the new generation. Little Saigon TV continues to lead as the top Vietnamese language television program in the United States.


History


Little Saigon TV has broadcast since 1990 with the first appeared on KSCI Channel 18. In 1993, Little Saigon TV transferred the program to KRCA Channel 62. Since 2000, KXLA Channel 44 provides the multi-culture language program with Little Saigon TV as the Vietnamese program. Beginning of 2009 Little Saigon TV develops the 24 hours programming in KXLA channel 44.4 Digital TV and leads the strongest News program and entertainment.

In January 2010, Little Saigon  TV expanded its broadcasting to the United States nationwide and extended viewing to Canada via satellite Galaxy 19. Coverage also consists of local programming from San Diego, California and Portland, Oregon.
Beginning on January 1st, 2012 Little Saigon TV developed  24 hours programming on KJLA channel 57.7 Digital TV



Prime News


Little Saigon TV (LSTV) is the first Vietnamese program in the US to broadcast live news. Little Saigon TV News broadcasts weekday Morning, Noon, Evening and hourly Headlights from the news source of "The World's News Leader" Cable News Networks (CNN). The LSTV prime news coverage features top stories and breaking news in the US and around the world. There is also special coverage on occurrences in Vietnam as well as other countries in Asia. In addition, LSTV provides news with local interests such as, business, legal affairs, medical and health, technology and education from LSTV's expert reporting team.


Entertainment


Authentic Vietnamese movies & drama with selected programming subtitled in English for the young Vietnamese Americans. Vietnamese music programs include music video, concerts, comedy shows, lifestyles and stories of top musicians/entertainers.


Sports


Weekly Sports News cover Vietnamese favorite tournaments of national and international soccer, tennis, table tennis, golf, volley ball, etc. LSTV actively supports and covers the regional games.


Documentary & Education


Programs include the weekly children programs and variety of Vietnamese culture through lifestyles, food, fashion, many industries for social and environment issues, medical and technology from both western and oriental treatments, health and beauty etc. Programs are produced in forms of talk shows or reporting events on site.

Community Events
LSTV actively host or co-host to support many community events around the US with full coverage for LIVE broadcasting of cultural tradition events, local festivals, community events, religious ceremonies and entertainment such as the Lunar New Year's Eve Countdown, the Traditional Rice Cooking Contest, the Moon Festival, the Buddha Birthday, the Marian Days (for Vietnamese American Roman Catholics in Missouri), etc....
